物心ついた頃から映画に夢中になり、1980年代アメリカを舞台にした街並みのグラフィティやスケートボードに衝撃を受け自身もスケートボードとグラフィティに夢中になる。そんなストリートカルチャーの次に夢中になったのが植物の世界で、個性的な植物の魅力を多くの人に伝えたいと思い、自身が経験してきたことや、影響を受けたストリートカルチャーと融合させた作品の制作を行っている。主にシルクスクリーンによる制作で製版から刷り上げまで一貫して行なっている。

GIRUVI Profile:
Since childhood, GIRUVI has been passionate about movies, deeply influenced by the street scenes, graffiti, and skateboarding of 1980s America. Immersed in skateboarding and graffiti, GIRUVI then became fascinated by the world of plants. Wanting to share the allure of unique plants with many people, GIRUVI creates works that blend personal experiences and the influences of street culture. GIRUVI handles the entire process of screen printing, from creating the screen to pressing the final prints.
