1986年に発売された一番最初のアイアンマン® 8ラップのデザインを忠実に再現したアイアンマン® 8-Lap 1986 OG。デジタルウォッチといえば黒いケースだった常識を覆し、カーペイントに着想を得てグレーメタリックを採用。側面にあるのが普通だったスタート/ストップ、ラップ計測のプッシャーを時計表面に設けるなど、当時としては斬新かつ最先端のデザインとテクノロジーが取り入れられました。初年度に40万本のセールスを記録し「スポーツウォッチの金字塔」と称されるOGカラーが初めて復刻しました。

The Ironman® 8-Lap 1986 OG faithfully reproduces the design of the very first Ironman® 8-Lap released in 1986. It broke the convention of digital watches always having black cases by adopting a gray metallic inspired by car paint. It incorporated innovative and cutting-edge design and technology for its time, such as placing the start/stop and lap measurement pushers on the watch face instead of the side. This OG color, which recorded 400,000 sales in its first year and was hailed as the "pinnacle of sports watches," has been revived for the first time.
